Why am I being asked to pay a WLD fee?

Learn why a fee may be required to complete your transaction

In some cases, you may be asked to pay a small WLD fee to complete a transaction. This usually happens when the network is experiencing high congestion and processing costs are temporarily higher.

When this occurs, the transaction can only be completed if your wallet has enough WLD to cover the required fee. If your balance is insufficient, the transaction will not be processed.

What to keep in mind

  • Your wallet must have at least the WLD amount shown in the error message to proceed.

  • If you don’t have enough WLD, the transaction cannot be completed at that time.

  • You can try again later, as fees may decrease once the network is less congested.
