If you have an active loan, you can easily repay it through the Credit mini app in World App, using USDC (digital dollars) or Worldcoin (WLD). On the main screen, you’ll see all the relevant details about your loan, including:
The outstanding amount, including principal, interest, and any applicable penalties.
A timer showing the time remaining until the payment due date or, if overdue, the time elapsed since the due date.
Your updated credit limit, which will be reflected once your current loan payment is processed.
How to repay your loan
To complete your payment, follow these steps:
Open the Credit mini app from World App.
Tap the green “Pay” button and make sure you have enough funds in your World wallet.
Choose your payment method:
USDC (digital dollars), or
Worldcoin (WLD)
Confirm the amount and tap “Allow transaction” to complete the process.
Once approved, the payment is processed immediately or within a few minutes. Your loan status will update automatically, and your credit limit will be available for future loans.
Make sure to complete your loan repayment on or before the due date to avoid late fees and penalties. Paying on time not only helps you maintain a strong credit history and avoid restrictions on future borrowing, but also strengthens your credit profile, which may increase your credit limit and make future loan applications smoother.
Regional payment options
Currently, Argentina and Chile have a local payment method available. You can repay your loan using bank transfers. This method may require additional verification, such as KYC (Know your Customer), to comply with local regulations.
You may also need to provide personal details when completing these transfers to comply with regulatory requirements.
💡Important: Once your payment is processed and reflected in the app, your loan will be marked as paid, and you’ll be able to request a new loan.
