Our loans are designed to be simple, fast, and flexible. They allow you to access short-term financing directly from the app, with clear conditions from the start and a fully digital process that can be completed in just minutes.
From application to repayment, the entire loan management process is handled transparently within the app, allowing you to review details, dates, and loan status at any time.
Below is a step-by-step explanation of how each stage works:
1. Who can apply for a loan?
Loans are available to users who have completed their World account verification through the Orb.
Important: Please note that this verification process is managed exclusively by World App. If you have any questions regarding your verification status, you should contact their support team directly.
2. Credit limit
The amount you can request depends on your profile and payment history. Initially, you can access loans of up to 5 USD.
As you request and repay your loans on time, your credit profile improves, allowing you to qualify for higher amounts and better conditions in future applications.
Your credit limit increases progressively based on your consistency with on-time payments. The stronger your repayment history, the higher the amount you may access — up to a maximum of 1,000 USD.
You can check your available credit limit at any time from the “Loans” tab within the app.
3. Application process
Applying for a loan is real quick!
From the “Loans” tab, you can select the amount and duration that best fit your needs, review the conditions, and confirm your request.

4. Loan terms
Before confirming your request, you will clearly see:
The requested amount
The loan duration (between 1 and 30 days)
The due date
The applicable interest rate
All this information is displayed transparently before you accept the loan.
5. Loan disbursement
Once your loan is approved, the funds will be deposited immediately into your World wallet, with no additional steps required.
6. Can I withdraw the funds to my bank account?
After your loan has been approved and the funds are available in your wallet, you may choose to manually withdraw them to your bank account from within the app.
Bank withdrawals through Credit are currently available only in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and the Philippines, where you can receive funds in local currency.
If you are not located in one of these countries, you may try withdrawing directly through the World app.

7. How do I repay my loan?
You can repay your loan directly from the app using:

We recommend completing your payment on or before the due date to avoid additional charges.
8. What happens if you don’t pay on time?
If your payment is not completed before the due date, a penalty will apply starting the following day.
The penalty equals 20% of the total outstanding amount and is calculated progressively over a period of 14 days. This means the fee increases gradually each day until it reaches the full penalty amount.
To avoid additional charges, we strongly recommend completing your payment on or before the due date. You will be able to apply for a new loan immediately after.
